The Vidyasaarathi Scholarship 2019 has released an online application form on the official website. Vidyasaarathi is mainly a scholarship which is provided to students of Nursing, ITI, and B.Ed. The Vidyasaarathi application form can be filled by all the candidates online by the Vidyasaarathi which is a technology-enabled initiative by NSDL.

Eligibility for Vidyasaarathi MPCL Scholarship:

Although the intentions of the organization are to provide scholarship to a maximum amount of candidates as possible. However, like every time the scholarship is limited to just a few candidates depending if they match the eligibility criteria, stated by Vidyasaarathi.

 

B.Sc Nursing Course:

  • Only those students who are perusing a full-time degree in Nursing from a recognized university or institution in India will be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • Candidates must have passed their HSC (12th Grade) with at least a minimum percentage of 50%.
  • Candidates who have pursued it pursuing the undergrad level of B.Sc candidates are eligible to apply.
  • There is no gender restriction and students from all genders are eligible to apply.

 

ITI Courses:

  • Only those students who are pursuing a full-time degree in different ITI courses such as Electrician, Turner, Fitter, etc. are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must have passed their HSC (12th Grade) with at least a minimum percentage of 50%.
  • The institute in which the candidate has pursued and pursued the ITI courses should be affiliated by National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET).
  • Candidates must have passed their SSC (10th Grade) with at least a minimum percentage of 35%.

 

B.Ed Courses:

  • Only those students who are pursuing B.Ed as a full-time 2-year course will be eligible.
  • The institute in which the candidate has pursued and pursued the B.Ed course should have a valid NAAC Accreditation and NCTE Approval.
  • Candidates should score at least a minimum percentage of 50% in the graduation exam.

 

Common Eligibility Criteria:

Apart from the above stated detailed eligibility criteria’s, the candidate who wishes to apply for the Vidyasaarathi Scholarship needs to keep a close check the common eligibility criteria as well. All the interested candidates are requested to closely look at the eligibility criteria and only then apply before the last date of the scholarship application form.

 

  • The family income of the candidate who wishes to apply for the scholarship should not exceed 5 Lakhs. The candidate will be required to show proof for the same.
  • Vidyasaarathi does not put any gender restrictions on the candidates. All-female and male candidates who fulfill the eligibility will have an equal chance to apply.
  • Candidates who belong to the state of Himachal Pradesh will be given a priority over the other candidates.
  • The children and relatives of the MPCL will not be eligible to apply for the scholarship, as this opportunity is not open for Indoor staff.
