Ira Lubert must be surprised that his Alma Mater’s community is rejecting his casino – and Bally’s has had to wait for over a year because he fouled up the license for this casino as well. I wonder how long Bally’s leadership will continue to stake their money and their reputation on Mr. Lubert when he can’t deliver the goods… they would probably be better off cutting ties with him and focusing their efforts on their new $1.7 billion destination casino in Chicago instead.
